Strawberry Pop-Ups: A LazyCook Brunch Recipe
The last few weeks have been insane! I have been merchandising and staging at least five model homes a week since the International Builders Show and the Kitchen and Bath Show. This weekend it was time to spend a few days at home and spend some time in the kitchen.
I love spending time with my grandkids, and they love spending time in the kitchen with me. When I was in Florida a few weeks ago Catherine and I took over my daughter’s kitchen, and I decided to try to do a version of a Dutch Baby. This is similar to a popover, and is a showstopper when you take it out of the oven, but is super easy to make if you know a few tricks.
The one that we made there wasn’t what I hoped for it to be, but we ate every bite of it!
After a few misses at home, I have finally come up with a recipe that I am ready to share, including what you need to make it successful. I’m focusing my Lifestylist Brand to be all about Wine Dine and Design, so this fits in perfectly.
With it being strawberry season, I used strawberries here, but I’m thinking it’s going to be delicious with fresh Texas peaches soon, or even a savory version with farm bought tomatoes, basil, and a balsamic reduction… coming soon!
